I love words.
As writers, we can weave sentences using basic, everyday words that describe feelings, moods, scenes… But we also have higher level words that offer specificity to what we are expressing. As in the title above, we could use “a lot” or “many,” but instead we find “plethora” (abundance, profusion). Love that word! I recently heard the antagonist in a series tell the good guy to get on the floor with alacrity. Another great word!
